Meet Our Team

Jason and Lauren Baker founded Simply Insurance Agency with one goal—make insurance simple for South Mississippi families and businesses.

With over 17 years of experience, Jason understands insurance from large commercial accounts to everyday auto policies. Outside the office, he’s passionate about sports broadcasting. He’s spent more than 20 seasons calling games for the University of Southern Mississippi on ESPN+ and the Southern Miss Sports Radio Network and is the Voice of the Lady Eagles Basketball team. You’ll also hear him calling Poplarville Hornet football on Friday nights with Talking Ball Y'all. When he’s not behind a mic, Jason enjoys hunting, saltwater fishing, and time outdoors.

Lauren recently joined the insurance business to support clients with additional markets and to build a family business for their children, Jackson (17) and Camden (14). She also serves as Librarian/Test Coordinator at Poplarville High School and is a top-performing Pampered Chef consultant, earning national awards and trips each year. Jason and Lauren and their boys are both very active with their church family at First Baptist Church of Poplarville.  

Together, Jason and Lauren bring both professional expertise and personal dedication to Simply Insurance Agency.

 Ryan Jackson brings over 16 years of experience as a dedicated high school teacher and baseball coach, having served students at Poplarville, Perry Central, and currently at Forrest County Agricultural High School. He is a proud alumnus of Poplarville High School, Pearl River Community College, Mississippi State University and William Carey University. His passion for helping people succeed has carried over into his career in insurance. In 2025, Ryan earned his Mississippi Insurance License and was honored to join the Simply Insurance team, where he is committed to serving families with honesty, care, and professionalism.

Ryan and his wife, Rebekah, have been married for 13 years and are proud parents of two children, Rory (12) and Riggs (8), who attend Poplarville School District. Rebekah has worked at Pearl River Community College for over 18 years, and together, the Jackson family is actively involved at First Baptist Church Poplarville.

When he’s not working with clients, Ryan can often be found at the ball field or spending quality time with his family.

 Rivers Collins is a Personal Lines Account Manager at Simply Insurance Agency. She graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Marketing and earned her Property & Casualty Insurance License in June 2024.

After spending the past 10 years as a stay-at-home mom, Rivers is excited to be back in the working world and beginning this new chapter in her career. Her years of raising children have taught her the importance of patience, organization, communication, and, most importantly, taking care of people. She brings that same heart for helping others into her work with every client.

Rivers is a proud mom to three children—Bekham, 9, Fletcher, 7, and Blakely, 2. Her family is at the center of her life, and she loves spending time together, cheering on her kids at their sporting events, and making memories as a family. Rivers and her family are also active members of First Baptist Poplarville, where their faith and church family are an important part of their lives.

Rivers is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Simply Insurance team and loves helping families navigate their insurance needs and protect the people, homes, and things that matter most to them.
